Job Description

About Mariana Minerals
Mariana Minerals is a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company on a mission to supply the critical minerals powering modern energy, AI, and defense technologies. We're reimagining the minerals supply chain by combining deep industry expertise with advanced software, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
The Role
Mariana Minerals is looking for a meticulous and highly motivated Engineering Coordinator / Project Engineer to manage the flow of engineering documentation across our large capital projects. Reporting to the Detail Engineering Manager, you will track and coordinate engineering documents, contracts, time sheets, invoices and related information. The role requires close collaboration with other departments including Document Control, Procurement, Construction, Accounting, and Project Controls. This is a hands-on role for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting a vast flow of engineering information and who is exacting about accuracy and organization.
While this role is focused on coordinating engineering documentation, it goes beyond administrative activities and requires engaging with the technical content of documents to ensure that internal and external engineering teams have the information they need when they need it.
What You'll Do
• Accelerate project execution by developing and maintaining organized technical documentation.
• Maintain a Master Document Register for each engineering project; tracking both planned and actual engineering documents through the project Lifecyle.
• Organize engineering documentation within our Electronic Document Management System (Autodesk Construction Cloud) and Sharepoint.
• Assemble and manage documentation packages for engineering contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Track technical deliverables from engineering contractors and equipment vendors.
• Track engineering budgets and expenses.
• Produce weekly reports showing project engineering status.
Desired Qualifications
• A passion for delivering complex projects through an organized approach
• 2–10 years of experience working in a project environment
• Familiarity with engineering deliverable types—drawings, datasheets, specifications, etc.
• Working knowledge of document management
• Meticulous attention to detail and consistency
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to build trackers and status dashboards
• Clear communication with internal teams and external parties
Preferred, but not required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• EPC / industrial / mining / oil & gas / power project experience
• Experience developing organization systems and work processes
Why Join Us?
At Mariana Minerals, you'll be part of a mission-driven team reshaping the way critical minerals are sourced and supplied globally. You'll have the autonomy to make big decisions, the tools to innovate, and a culture that values ownership, smart automation, and collaboration.
Our culture is built on three principles:
• Extreme Ownership – We take full responsibility for outcomes, relentlessly driving toward solutions.
• Engineer Out Requirements, then Automate – We simplify, optimize, and then automate for scale.
• Share Your Legos – We collaborate openly, share knowledge, and empower each other to build bigger, better solutions.
Join us as we build the future of responsible mineral sourcing and supply.
