Job Description

This client is currently looking for a Data Engineer to join their fast-growing data team. This individual will play a pivotal role in both setting up and maintaining the data infrastructure, with a primary focus on improving and hardening our data lakehouse in AWS and leading technical projects through Agile methodologies. They will be responsible for developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining architectures such as large-scale processing systems and databases. Additionally, they will work closely with Data Analysts and cross-functional teams to provide solutions that meet their requirements. Expertise in AWS tools, coupled with knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Azure, will drive our data solutions to new heights. The salary range for this position will start at $125K annually once converted from contract.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience in data engineering in complex,
enterprise level environments
* Experience working with multiple SQL databases (SQL
Server, MySQL, PLsql, oracle, etc)
* Proficiency in AWS services with Azure
counterparts (S3,EC2, RDS, RedShift, etc)
*Windows and Linux experience
* Strong Experience utilizing Python and Pyspark - writing
code, maintaining code, etc.
* Proven experience with machine Learning

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience utilizing GenAI
* Experience with Microsoft power Platform
* Experience with machine learning
*Experience with big data technologies - Spark
