Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Contracts Advisor in downtown Houston, Texas. This position is responsible for end to end contracting from requirements definition, bidding, sourcing, negotiating, and securing agreements. Responsible for contract planning, engaging with business owners, determining contract strategy, selecting contracting methods, identification of contract risks and putting in place risk mitigation, negotiating and finalization of contracts and handover to business owners. Responsible for evaluating supplier performance and communicating results to operations; maintaining compliance with materials and services contracts. This role is responsible for RFPs, from starting to carrying it to completion. We need a candidate comfortable interfacing with different stakeholders, attending meetings, and being involved in creating contract strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

A bachelors degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related discipline. Alternatively, candidates with 10 or more years of experience in contracts will be considered in lieu of a degree.

7+ years related contracting / procurement / supply chain experience

5+ years' experience in Oil & Gas Operations. (Midstream LNG or Operator Exp preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP

Clear understanding of contracting and procurement processes

Ability to action all steps in the contracting process

Ability to improve processes and procedures

Ability to establish technical and commercial criteria internally before bids go out

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Engineering Background

S/4 HANA

Proficiency in Open Text a plus - contract repository

CSCP, CPIM or CPSM certifications a plus
