Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to sit onsite 5 days per week in Westchase, Houston, TX. This is a direct hire salaried role, that will sit in office but have some construction site visits required. The Project Coordinator will assist in the coordination and management of gas station and commercial construction projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with both the Senior Project Manager and Construction Team Lead to ensure the smooth execution of projects from planning through completion. Assist the Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager in all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of resources. Ensure clear communication between both managers to streamline project efforts. Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to both the Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager on project status and milestones. Work with the Construction Manager to monitor and maintain project schedules, ensuring that work is progressing according to the timeline. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to avoid delays. Assist in the ordering and tracking of materials and equipment. Ensure that all necessary materials are available when needed on-site, working closely with the Construction Manager to manage logistics. Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, keeping both the Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager informed of any issues or updates. Address concerns or requests promptly, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned. Work with both managers to ensure that all permits and regulatory requirements for gas station construction, such as environmental and safety codes, are obtained and followed throughout the project. Support the Construction Manager in monitoring on-site activities to ensure quality standards are maintained. Assist in addressing any on-site issues that arise and work with both managers to implement solutions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a strong understanding of construction processes. The ideal candidate will be able to support both project management and on-site operations efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in project coordination in gas station or commercial construction

Familiarity with construction documentation, permitting, and scheduling processes for commercial projects

Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Excel, Procore)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Sharepoint

Experience in an agile environment

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
