Job Description

• Complete assigned claims support activities timely and accurately. Tasks include claim input, documentation, and response preparation for claim handler review.
• Maintain understanding of departmental service standards, guidelines, processes and procedures.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment while also demonstrating the ability to perform independently.
• Ensure timely and accurate support for claim handlers to facilitate efficient claims processing.
• Display flexibility to support evolving department and business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong PC skills, especially in Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat or the ability to grasp the new processes quickly
• Ability to learn other software required for role
• Strong skills in verbal and written communication, analysis and problem solving, organization and time management
• Detail-oriented
• Comfortable with high volume workloads
• Ability to pivot from one task to another based on priority
• Some phone skills necessary - ability to communicate with claimants over the phone, ensuring a clear and positive interaction
• High School diploma or equivalent is required,

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

some college is preferred
