Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Civil Grading Designer to join a top EPC company in the Houston, TX area. The person in this role will join a team of 10-15 multi-disciplinary designers and assist in the grading scope for a large data center project in addition to smaller midstream oil and gas compressor station, meter station and other pipeline facility related projects. They will be working daily within Civil 3D and must be comfortable with building full grading models from scratch. They will be using Surface, Alignment, Assembly, Road design, Grade creation tool, Feature line, Grading optimization and Volume surface features in Civil 3D.

Required Skills & Experience

5-10 YOE as a Civil Grading Designer

5-10 YOE using Civil 3D on a daily basis

Prior experience balancing earthwork on large sites

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CADWorx Structure software experience

Oil and Gas experience; Midstream projects preferred

Data center project experience

Advanced steel software experience

Associates or Bachelor's degree
