Job Description

An oncology provider in Houston, TX is looking to bring on a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. They will be housed at Texas Breast Specialist in Memorial City and will travel to the Katy location on Mondays. This person will be responsible for triaging patients, rooming patients, taking vital signs, removing sutures, and preparing them for surgery. They should be experienced and comfortable working alongside a Surgeon, possess strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, they should be well-versed in sterilization techniques and surgical procedures to provide the best support to both the surgical team and patients.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant

* Certified Medical Assistant

* Experience working in a surgical setting -- OR/Clinic

* Experience triaging patients, scheduling, AND taking vitals

* Job tenure!!

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience working in an oncology environment

* Bilingual (Spanish)

* Experience removing drains

* Experienced scheduling outpatient imaging
