Job Description

Our client in the ITS and tolling industry is launching a new Quality Assurance department to support their growing portfolio of civil, underground, and roadway infrastructure projects across Texas. We are seeking a Project/ Field Engineer with a strong background in CEI in Texas DOT projects to ensure construction and engineering work is executed to the highest standards and in full compliance with state specifications. This role will be 40% in the field and 60% in-office.

Required Skills & Experience

· 3-5 years of experience as a Field/Project Engineer on DOT construction projects in Texas
· Familiarity with TxDOT standards and specifications
· Experience with CEI (Construction Engineering and Inspection) activities
· Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office tools
· Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical documents
Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience building out a quality department
- Bachelor's degree
