Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Development Manager for I&E services for a top Midstream EPC company in the Spring, TX area. The BD manager will be responsible for driving market growth across the Instrumentation & Electrical sector for Midstream, Upstream and Energy infrastructure clients across the US. They will be promoting core services such as SCADA, PLC/RTU automation, plant instrumentation, and E&I construction and maintenance—while identifying and securing new business opportunities. They will be joining an 8 person Business Development team and reporting directly into the SVP of BD.

Required Skills & Experience

5-8 years of experience in a technical sales role

5-8 years of experience in the Oil, Gas and Energy industry (preferably in the Midstream & Downstream sector)

5-8 years of experience selling Instrumentation installation, calibration, and maintenance, SCADA and control system integration, Automation solutions (PLC/RTU programming and commissioning), Low- and medium-voltage electrical construction, Facility power and emergency systems and Gas analysis, fire & gas detection, and telecommunications.

5-8 years of experience selling within the &E sector, including oil & gas, pipeline, compressor stations, terminals, and renewables.

High School Diploma

CRM software proficiency

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree

SharePoint proficiency
