Job Description

A community based healthcare provider in Houston, XT is seeking an Adult Medicine Physician Assistant to join their practice. Duties include evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, hyperlipidemia, obesity, muscular skeletal issues) as well as general sick visits – flus, colds, UTIs. The goal of the clinic is to assist their patients and help them with the resources that the patients have access to and can afford.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience practicing adult medicine

Experience treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia

Masters Degree from an accredited PA program

Licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board

Physician Assistant - Certification

Basic Life Support certification required.

Comprehensive knowledge of medical diagnoses, procedures and accepted treatment patterns and primary medical care in out-patient setting.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
