Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Accounting Specialist who is mainly focused on payment administration for a large oil and gas company here in Houston, Texas. The role is responsible for managing all aspects of check processing and payment administration for OGC-SAP and OCC-SAP systems using Bottomline software. Key duties include daily check distribution, balancing registers, coordinating special handling and mailing logistics, and executing same-day and monthly check runs for various programs. The position also oversees equipment maintenance, data archiving, and electronic payment functions, including POS Pay decisions and resolution of payment failures. Additional responsibilities include managing related mailboxes, researching payment issues, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
