Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Director of Strategic Partnerships in a remote environment. This individual will be responsible for building and managing a growing network of independent contractors supporting investigative and research operations. They will oversee the full contractor lifecycle including sourcing, onboarding, maintaining contractor profiles, assigning work based on skillset and bandwidth, and ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables. On a daily basis, this person will support a small internal team while managing a large, distributed contractor network, responding to contractor questions, and ensuring work is routed effectively through a marketplace model. They will also enhance and scale contractor scorecards, improve QA processes, and help automate manual workflows such as contractor outreach and billing coordination. Additionally, this person will partner with leadership to expand contractor capacity and implement more standardized, tech-enabled processes to improve performance and efficiency. This role offers a salary range of $85,000–$95,000 with potential flexibility.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategy for recruiting, onboarding, engaging, and retaining a high-performing network of independent contractors.
- Build scalable contractor programs to support business growth, client demand, and geographic expansion.
- Lead contractor sourcing, evaluation, qualification, and selection, ensuring appropriate expertise, capacity and market coverage.
- Own the contractor lifecycle, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Maintain documentation, standards, and policies supporting contractor operations.
- Establish and monitor contractor KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and productivity benchmarks.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and scorecards to provide visibility into contractor, product, and regional performance trends.
- Partner with investigative leadership to ensure quality standards are consistently met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance report quality, consistency, and turnaround.
- Drive the adoption and continuous evaluation of technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions, partnering with Product and Technology teams to enhance systems, workflows, and tools that improve contractor engagement, productivity, quality management, and workforce scalability.
- Leverage data analytics and operational insights to support workforce planning, performance optimization, and strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience managing vendors, contractors, or external partners
Experience building and scaling contractor or marketplace-style networks
Strong background in operations, performance management, and process standardization
Experience managing direct reports while overseeing external contractor performance
Tech-forward mindset with experience leveraging systems, automation, or reporting tools
Background in investigations, background checks, due diligence, or risk management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in BPO or high-volume contractor environments
Exposure to contractor scorecards, QA processes, and performance metrics
Experience with invoicing, billing, or AP processes
Familiarity with data/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience working with marketplace platforms or contractor sourcing tools
