Job Description

An Insight Global client in the Houston area is looking for a functional Payroll Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kronos timekeeping functionality, payroll operations, and Peoplesoft systems. This person will be the subject matter expert in Kronos and system optimization. This candidate will also be supporting payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines. Lastly, the ideal candidate will collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance teams to resolve system issues and improve process efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience as a Payroll Analyst

3-5 years of experience utilizing Kronos Workforce - Kronos Timecard and Accruals

Experience processing transaction log errors and assisting with operational Kronos and Payroll inquiries

Knowledge of labor distribution, accrual processing, and leave management within Kronos

Familiarity with federal/state payroll regulations and higher ed payroll structures

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience in higher education or medical/academic healthcare environments
