Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Reverse Malware Engineer to join our CHAOS team. This role focuses on analyzing and reverse-engineering malware, then using that knowledge to create safe proof-of-concept simulations for testing and validation in controlled environments. In addition to malware research, you will help build out advanced attack functions that SafeBreach currently cannot perform, enabling our team to push the boundaries of offensive security testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Reverse-engineer malware to understand its behavior, techniques, and impact.
Develop proof-of-concept malware simulations that mimic real-world threats while remaining safe for production environments.
Script and execute attacks in controlled network environments to validate security measures.
Simulate ransomware and other advanced threats for testing purposes.
Collaborate with the CHAOS team to extend SafeBreach capabilities by creating custom attack functions.
Work closely with security engineers to enhance detection and response strategies.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering.
Proficiency in Python and Assembly programming languages.
Hands-on experience creating scripted attack scenarios in isolated environments.
Ability to design and implement safe malware simulations for research and validation.
Familiarity with offensive security concepts and threat modeling.
