Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Executive Producer/Director of Production to join the team of a client of ours, who leads in industry in creating golf related content on all social media platforms, mainly YouTube. The role will be responsible for leading an experienced in-house production team and an outstanding team of talent, produce and evaluate all content that will be used across their own channels as well as those of retail, digital and linear media partners. They will also be responsible for entire P&L/ budget, as well as planning and executing trips and other sponsored requirements. This individual will have some say on the creative side and content ideas but will mainly handle all operations of production, content planning and scheduling. They will be travelling with (and managing) the production team to all events/locations they are filming at. So, they must have a flexible schedule and be willing to travel upwards of 1-2 weeks per month. Travel will be both in-state and overseas, must have/be able to obtain United States Passport. Travel is paid for. This role is onsite 5 days a week, so this individual must be able to commute to Frisco, TX daily.



Responsibilities:

* From inception to execution, produce outstanding quality content to bring our products, people, athletes and ambassadors to life.

* Direct the creation of an annual content calendar and work alongside other departments (social, product, retail) to ensure successful implementation.

* Create beautifully told stories that will allow us to bring both our products and brands to life in the eyes of the consumer.

* Direct an experienced media production team to ensure that assets are delivered to the business meeting high standards and in a timely manner.

* Lead the relationship with an exceptional group of ambassadors to build up positive relationships around content requirements as well as our brands in general.

* Manage the contracted product requirements of our sponsors (budget, delivery) to ensure all needs are met.

* Work closely with wider leadership group to coordinate key content needs around critical periods (sales meetings, product launches, major tournaments, athlete and ambassador activation)

* Manage overall budget for content development (everything from shoot travel costs to required equipment expenses).

* Manage physical production space and valuable assets including in house warehouse space, podcast studio and all camera equipment.

* Continually review content trends inside and outside of the golf space to ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of content development.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Media or Content Industry

- At least 3 years in a team management or lead role

- Strategic planning skills

- Decent understanding of golf (someone who plays is ideal)

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Experience working with & presenting to executive leadership

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge of golf

- Content creation in sport industry

- Experience working with sponsors and creating/planning sponsorship ads
