Job Description

The PM will be overall responsible for managing the division of project responsibility between internal team and external contractors
o Once engineering package is received, they will communicate with engineering teams to decide if they will handle internally, or they want to source it to external contractors
o If they decide to source it out, the Project Manager will communicate with external contractors to go over scope and price
The PM will be responsible for scheduling consistent check-ins with internal teams or external contractors to make sure work is getting done and is able to get done, and work is being done on time according to the project schedule
The PM will own meetings, agendas, and action items and be prepared to present to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or similar
5+ years of project management experience within the engineering, construction, or utilities space
Experience with transmission lines, substations, and outages
Experience managing scopes of work with subcontractors
Strong leadership experience managing a team of project coordinators or project managers
Proficient in Microsoft Projects
