Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Planning Analyst Associate to join the Supply Chain Transformation teams of one of our Dallas-based clients in the Energy & Utilities industry. The Project Planning Analyst Associate organizes and tracks a variety of supply chain initiatives, ensuring that all tasks are progressing according to schedule and that updates are clearly communicated daily. This role involves collaborating with a wide range of teams across the company, including Sourcing, Inventory, Equipment Management, Real Estate, Facilities, IT, Transmission, Distribution, Waste Management, Environmental, Regulatory, Audit, Accounts Payable, and more. The associate gathers and analyzes data from these groups to support project scheduling, resolve issues, and drive process improvements. Regular use of systems such as Maximo and SharePoint is required to manage project information, track assets, and share updates efficiently. The associate is also responsible for developing and maintaining clear documentation and processes to help teams work together effectively. Independence and initiative are key, as the role requires learning new systems and solving problems with minimal supervision after initial training. Additionally, the associate supports special projects as assigned and communicates regularly with stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed about project status and any challenges. Building strong working relationships across all supply chain and supporting departments is essential for success in this position.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive & go-getter attitude
• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of Supply Chain experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Exposure to SQL

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management
• Proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Experience or knowledge of Manhattan or Era
• Experience or knowledge of Maximo, GEP, and EDI
• Experience with Jira
