Job Description
This Architect position is responsible for designing and guiding the overall architecture of enterprise technology solutions, ensuring they align with organizational strategy and business objectives. They evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and platforms to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient systems. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across business, development, and operations teams to translate requirements into practical, sustainable designs. The IT Architect will also set standards, best practices, and governance models to ensure interoperability and long-term maintainability. This will be hybrid onsite M-F 8-5, 3 days onsite 2 days remote.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in an Architect role specifically designing storage solutions in hybrid cloud enviornments
Strong understanding and command of: SAN/NAS architectures, storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB, Fibre Channel)
enterprise storage platforms (e.g., Pure Storage, Dell EMC), hypervisors such as VMware vSphere/ESXi
Backup platforms (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity)
Active Directory Domain/forest design, replication, and trust relationships; integration with authentication/authorization systems (Kerberos, NTLM, Entra Connect)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
Storage certifications (e.g., Pure Storage, NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE)
