Job Description

Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a meticulous and experienced Contract and Risk Manager to join a growing organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This pivotal role involves overseeing all contract-related activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and implementing contract management software to streamline operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of legal terminology, risk management principles, and corporate governance, ideally within the MRO sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage contract management software to organize and track agreements.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards.
- Create concise summaries of key contractual terms, obligations, renewal dates, and potential risks.
- Ensure agreements are properly executed, stored, and monitored according to company policies.
- Identify and evaluate contractual risks, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Conduct regular contract audits to detect and address discrepancies or potential issues.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and internal teams to manage disputes, amendments, and contract terminations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all contract-related inquiries and issues.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on contract management best practices and policies.
- Work with procurement, finance, and legal departments to ensure contracts align with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in contract management, legal compliance, or risk management.
Bachelors degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with contract management software implementation and utilization.
Strong ability to interpret complex legal language and distill key points effectively.
Understanding of the service repair or manufacturing industry (highly regulated)
Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working at an MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) or aviation industry
