Job Description
An employer is seeking Senior UX Writers to sit in Boston or Woonsocket, RI. As a Senior UX Writer you will be part of a growing team of digital innovators and user experience professionals that want to make an impact and help people manage their health by designing experiences that meet user goals and exceed expectations.
In this specific role, you will be at the forefront of our Digital transformation to a hyper-agile product design and development process. In partnership with an external agency that is guiding us through this transformation, you will be implementing a new agile-like process by which we will deliver better products, faster. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team (product, design, and engineering) working on one of our most strategic initiatives. In addition to delivering this project, one of your key responsibilities will include bringing your knowledge back to our team to educate and train more team members, as we plan to incrementally increase the number of projects following this new process. We are seeking a well-rounded UX Writer who can solve complex business challenges while being an advocate of the user. This position requires deep understanding of large scale web and mobile initiatives, user-centered design, usability, information design, interaction design, and goal-oriented design. Your informed recommendations and content strategies will leverage best practices, user feedback, brand direction and usability test results to develop intelligent and impactful messaging, standards and interactive content.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in UX writing (JR- does not need context audit or management experience)
* Must have extensive app experience and strong experience with CMS tools- Adobe Experience Manager, ATG, Nuxeo, Joomla or other
* Comfortable explaining challenging concepts
* Experience working with cross functional teams in an Agile/Scrum SDLC environment (IT, Product, Research, etc.)
* Expertise in mobile and web micro copy, transactional messaging, emails, text messages and push notifications
* Great personality and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of UX Writing experience
* Sketch and/or InVision
* ATG, Joomla, and/or Nuxeo CMS experience
* Healthcare or pharmaceutical background
* e-Commerce, digital or retail experience
