* One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. This will be an onsite role in the Dallas/Addison Texas area that will require the resource to be onsite M-F 8am to 5 pm. The technician will be the first point of contact for the business partners of IT. As such the Technician answers incoming calls, processes emails and web tickets and tracks all information in ServiceNow. This includes software, hardware, network, telecommunication systems and basic desktop support matters. In the role, our technicians are responsible for determining the issue, escalating as required, working through a remedy, and then resolving the problem. Individuals in this position may also install software, updates and upgrades on the computers, workstations and network.
* The technician will be assisting users with tickets ranging from setting up printers to gaining software access. They must be a reliable individual who works well with teams, is eager to grow, has a good VP-level presence, good technical skills.
Estimated pay: $22-$28 hourly

* 3+ years of experience as an end-user support technician
* Knowledge and competency with ServiceNow ticketing system (or similar)
* Enterprise level experience, handling tickets for 500+ users
* Experience resolving tickets related to printer fixes; break-fix issues; device management; device delivery; equipment setup; equipment testing; equipment updates; etc.
* Strong communication, executive presence, reliability, and eagerness to grow
