Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Azure .NET Developer to join a market-leading manufacturing customer located in Addison, Texas. This role will support the Application Development team on an ongoing initiative migrating a large on premise environment to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The position is responsible for microservices development and building workflows using Azure Functions and Azure Microservices. This role is approximately 60% backend (microservices) and 40% frontend (React), with a strong emphasis on Azure Microservices, Azure Functions, C#/.NET development, cloud migration, and DevOps workflows. This candidate will work in a fully Microsoft based environment and contribute to both new development and ongoing production support. The position would require 3 days a week onsite in Addison, TX.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in daily touch base meetings and Scrum stand-ups
- Work primarily on backend microservices development using C#, .NET, Azure Functions, Azure Microservices, and gRPC.
- Work within a DevOps environment leveraging CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps (ADO), and containerized deployments.
- Perform code reviews using GitHub Copilot and ensure code quality with SonarQube.
- Design and develop visually appealing, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular).
- Write code for server-side applications (.NET, C#, Node.js, Python, Ruby).
- Design and build APIs for data exchange, microservices, and workflow components
- Design, build, and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
- Oversee the entire software development process from conception to deployment
- Perform testing, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure quality assurance
- Maintain and enhance modules already migrated to Azure and assist with remaining cloud migration efforts.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 10+ years of hands on, full stack development experience within Microsoft technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET and Azure application design and development, with experience building RESTful APIs, Microservices
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Dapr workflows, Azure Storage, Azure AI, and Azure SQL, as well as cloud migration projects.
- Relational database experience (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Front end experience with ReactJS, Next.js, and Angular, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency using Git Copilot and other AI based tools for Azure development, along with GitHub Copilot and SonarQube for code review and quality.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure cloud applications.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Microsoft Azure Certifications
- Master’s degree in related field
- Knowledge or proficiency of SOAP protocols
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns
- Ability to understand architectural diagrams and service communication flows
