Insight Global is looking fo ra Software Application Specialist that will be supporting the Controls on the Shared Services team. This position is responsible for building the Tridium Worktstation backbone using Niagara framework, integrate 3rd party controller interfaces, integrate field level controller template programs from Siemens and Distech product lines for all equipment within a project, and builds and binds graphics for building automation and access control systems.
Designs building automation and access control workstations for both new construction and service installed jobs based off of specifications, sequences of operation and controls submittals.
Creates Tidium Niagara Station backbone and communication structure per controls submitals and drawings.
Loads and configures standard programming into field controllers and integrates the field devices to the BAS front end.
Performs system integrations with 3rd party devices and equipment into Tridium, Siemens, or Distech controls systems.
Creates programming for the control of equipment such as AHUs and simple Chiller Plant controllers using the GFX, ABT Site, PPCL, and Niagara software where required.

Undergraduate degree in IT or Computer Systems or equivalent experience desired.
2+ years experience in HVAC controls in a field technician role.
2+ years experience in BAS controls in a software programming role.
Experience with Siemens or Distech controller products is required
Tridium Advanced Niagara Certification.
Tridium wiresheet logic programming capabilities.
Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as LON, Modbus, and BACnet.
COMPTIA A+ and Net+ Certification
