Job Description
Insight Global is searching for a Pharmacy Technician for a Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician with compounding experience to support a busy specialty pharmacy. This is a hands‑on production role focused primarily on sterile compounding, with some non‑sterile/oral compounding responsibilities.
The technician will work closely with pharmacists and other technicians in a structured cleanroom and non‑sterile environment.
Compounding Scope
Sterile Compounding (Majority of Work):
Sterile ophthalmic (eye) injectables
Cleanroom compounding under pharmacist supervision
USP <797> / <800> environment
Non‑Sterile Compounding:
Oral compounded medications
Measuring, mixing, labeling, and documentation
Key Responsibilities
Prepare sterile and non‑sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision
Perform aseptic technique in cleanroom environment
Accurately measure, mix, label, and document compounded medications
Maintain compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800>
Clean and maintain compounding areas and equipment
Follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times

Required Skills & Experience
- Pharmacy Technician license in Texas
- Sterile compounding experience strongly preferred
