Job Description
An equipment rental company in Deer Park, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to join their team. This individual will be responsible for entering invoices into the database, communicating with vendors, communicating with internal branch managers and teams to follow up on POs, overseeing another AP individual, and more.

Required Skills & Experience
5-8 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience WITH 1+ years in a senior or lead capacity
Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes, including invoice entry, 2-way/3-way PO matching, and payment processing
Experience working in a high-volume, multi-location environment
Proven ability to own and manage AP workflows, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, branch managers, and vendors
Experience resolving invoice discrepancies, including pricing, quantities, and sales tax issues
Ability to take ownership of vendor communication and drive issues through to resolution
Demonstrated ability to train, support, and guide junior AP staff
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in accounting systems and Excel

Experience with ERP systems
