Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client's Strategic Sourcing (Procurement) organization, overseeing the contract negotiations for their SaaS deals and implementation projects. Specifically this role will focus on the Call Center software for our client's call center agents and dispute agents. For example, call authentication software, AI call summary software, and other technologies that positively impact experience, productivity, and time savings. Contract negotiations could range in size from $100k to $15 million.
Our client is a prestigious global financial institution, and this organization specifically supports their tech-forward consumer credit card products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead vendor contract and commercial negotiations in SaaS spend categories.
- Act as a trusted business advisor to provide guidance on all vendor-related matters in spend category, including sourcing strategy for single-source and RFX projects.
- Work collaboratively with internal subject matter experts across Legal, Compliance, Tax, Finance, Firmwide sourcing, and other areas as required to drive sourcing projects to completion and meet all internal governance requirements.
- Evaluate and select vendors and products/services based on ability to meet requirements, total cost, risk, and commercial and legal terms.
- Conduct analysis to model expected costs over the contract term, design the optimal commercial structure and use this analysis to make well informed decisions and recommendations.
- Drive category planning alongside business stakeholders for one or more spend categories to maintain strategic and proactive control of the category inclusive of spend, number of vendors and product, vendor performance, and commercial and operational risk.
- Maintain all documentation, management information, and data as required such as the sourcing project tracker and contract database.
- Prepare reports for Executive management on overall service provider landscape / vendor management issues, including related risks and other metrics.

- 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing running contract negotiations for SaaS deals
- Outstanding communication skills, negotiation skills, and proven ability drive deals to completion with vendors and business stakeholders
- Proficient understanding of key contract terms in procuring SaaS platforms such as licensing terms and limitation of liability
- Highly organized and motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent)
