Senior Network Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Engineer that will be responsible for managing all aspects of network architecture design and deployment, including planning, installation, integration, configuration, testing, and maintenance. This individual will be responsible for network research, deployment, and configuration, ensuring compliance with IT policies. This role will also involve mentoring and providing technical guidance to IT staff, managing the creation of network-related documents, and overseeing the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans. Additionally, this person will be responsible for analyzing network connectivity data, recommending enhancements, resolving network incidents, maintaining technical documentation, researching IT advancements, and maintaining relationships with external partners to enhance the IT infrastructure.

- 6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Strong proficiency in routing and switching in Layer 2 and Layer 3
- Understanding of firewall principles
- ACI experience
- Familiarity with Cisco environments and SOX compliance
- Experience with various network technologies and the ability to challenge and optimize current practices
- Strong leadership and soft skills, with interest in growing into a team lead role in a few years with strong technical abilities
- Bachelors Degree or 8 years of equivalent experience

- Prior Project management experience (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt)
- Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA)
- Prior application-centric experience, as they are currently network-centric
