Senior Azure Solutions Architect

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Azure Architect with deep, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Purview, Intune, Defender, Entra ID, and Copilot to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions that support strategic business objectives and adhere to industry best practices. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders—translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable Azure architectures that align with both the Azure Well-Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework. The ideal candidate brings advanced knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity and access management, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance.

· 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in cloud architecture
o Proven ability to conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cost optimization
· Strong expertise across core Azure services: Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, and Security
· Hands-on experience implementing and managing:
o Microsoft Purview
o Microsoft Entra ID
o Microsoft Intune
o Microsoft Copilot
· Experience designing and gathering requirements for enterprise cloud and security solutions
· Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, including hybrid cloud and on-premises integration
· Proficiency in developing automation scripts using PowerShell and Python for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks
· Bachelor’s Degree required

· Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
· Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
· Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
· Experience with scripting languages like Bicep, ARM templates
