Job Description
We are seeking a SailPoint Engineer II to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives for a large healthcare organization in Dallas. This individual will play a key role in designing, supporting, and improving access management processes across a complex healthcare environment while helping drive automation and security best practices.
Responsibilities
• Own and support IAM operations, workflows, and access management processes
• Support and enhance SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and broader IAM platforms
• Develop and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks and rule-based provisioning workflows
• Manage user lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding
• Support integrations with Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
• Troubleshoot complex identity and access issues across systems and applications
• Automate manual provisioning activities and improve operational efficiency
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure alignment with security standards and compliance requirements (including HIPAA)
• Assist with access reviews, audit support, and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve identity governance and share best practices

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Identity Governance
Hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) or similar IAM platforms
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, SSO, MFA, PAM, and access control models
Experience designing, developing, or supporting RBAC frameworks
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex access-related issues
Solid understanding of IAM best practices and security frameworks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
IAM or SailPoint certifications
Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell)
Healthcare industry experience with familiarity in HIPAA and healthcare access models
Experience working in a fast-paced or contract environment
Exposure to complex, rule-based access structures and enterprise healthcare systems
