Job Description
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications supporting 9-1-1 public safety systems.
• Provide operational support for user account provisioning for internal and external clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements, estimate effort, and produce technical design specifications.
• Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components using modern frameworks and enterprise-grade platforms.
• Drive quality through test-driven development, automated testing strategies, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Conduct dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, deployment, and environment issues across development and production environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.
NOTE: Candidate to hire must be willing to work on call rotation support. Primary and secondary 24x7 on-call rotation is coverage in addition to the daily work 9-1-1 resources perform within business hours (22 weeks annually). Primary Support of 11 weeks and Secondary Support of 11 weeks. Training will be offered at time of contract conversion to employee hire. If the contract hire is not willing to perform this function upon conversion to an AT&T employee do not source.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7–10+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Java/J2EE with WildFly
• Spring Framework
• Node.js and Angular
• Oracle PL/SQL
• RESTful API design
• CI/CD pipelines
• Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Agile software development methodologies
• GitHub or similar version control systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Encryption and secure coding practices
• JReports (Insightsoftware), Tableau, or Power BI
• Experience with legacy mainframe systems, especially COBOL
• Familiarity with Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Prior experience in 9-1-1 public safety systems or emergency response platforms
• Exposure to GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
