Job Description
We are seeking a Oracle Systems Business Analyst to support our Accounting and Finance teams with a strong focus on Oracle Fusion/Oracle ERP Financials. This role acts as a liaison between accounting and IT and blends accounting knowledge with technical aptitude and requires someone who can identify system issues, translate business needs into clear requirements, and partner effectively with both functional users and IT. Since going live on Oracle 1.5 years ago, we are continuing to stabilize and enhance the platform, and this role will be central to driving improvements, integrations, reporting, and overall system optimization.
What You’ll Do:
-Serve as the primary contact for Oracle ERP Financials issues across Accounting and Finance.
-Troubleshoot and perform root‑cause analysis, document business requirements, and partner with IT on fixes and enhancements.
-Lead and execute UAT to confirm solutions meet business needs.
-Identify improvement opportunities and help define the system enhancement roadmap.
-Strengthen processes and reporting by leveraging Oracle capabilities and supporting integrations with downstream systems.
-Act as liaison between Accounting/Finance and IT, ensuring alignment on priorities and solutions.
-Communicate clearly with non‑technical users and support Supply Chain when needed.
-Apply accounting understanding (e.g., debits/credits, period close impacts) in system discussions.
-Support audit requests, financial reporting needs, and compliance activities.

Required Skills & Experience
-3+ years supporting Oracle Financial Applications (FA, AP, GL, AR) or a similar ERP such as NetSuite (experience with Oracle Fusion ERP is preferred).
-Strong functional understanding of Oracle Fusion/ERP Financials; experience with integrations and how transactional data moves between modules.
-Excellent communication skills — able to work closely with functional teams, ask insightful questions, and translate business needs for IT.
-Strong problem‑solving mindset and technical aptitude to understand why something isn’t working (integration issues, configuration gaps, data flow, etc.).
-Solid accounting knowledge (degree preferred), with ability to discuss accounting implications confidently.
-Experience with reporting tools such as OTBI, Tableau, SQL Developer.
