Job Description
A large investment banking client is looking for an Operational Risk and Resilience Analyst to join Global Banking and Markets team. This team is accountable for pre-emptively identifying and mitigating threats to operating Resiliency Objectives that are established for Global Banking & Markets primary functions including Capital Markets, Banking, Operations and Engineering, and preparedness for, and risk management of, incidents that may impact those objectives. This person will be overseeing a specific program for resilience testing, which could include capacity testing, smoke testing, BCP planning or otherwise. They will also be responsible for issue resolution. This will entail hosting calls to resolve internally and document appropriately. This team expects someone to come in with exposure to various risk and resilience programs to be able to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities will include:
- Drive efforts around education, awareness and adoption of the Operational Resilience and Risk program within the Global Banking and Markets Division.
- Ensure Completeness and Certification of all Business Continuity Plans for the Region.
- Orchestrate divisional assurance activities (tabletop exercises, simulations, drills, training, etc.), drive results to completion and maintain test documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Operational Resilience Guidelines published by regional regulators.
- Day to day task/project management and contributing to projects designed to introduce/improve processes and tools to enhance the firm’s risk management and recovery capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience within Risk and Resiliency
- Strong experience working with internal parnters to resolve any issues
- Experience managing resilience testing/programs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Knowledge on tools used to manage risk metrics and measurements, Tableau, Ignite Pad, Alteryx, design dashboard, data manipulation, etc.
- Exposure to IT Resilience, Tech Risk, Cyber Security principles would be an added advantage.
- Experience in managing Business Continuity Plans, and conducting assurances testing.
