Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Device Support Technician to join one of their utility clients in the DFW area. This role will primarily focus on mobile device replacements, Intune deployment, and device wipe/reload tasks. The technician will resolve Tier 1 IT service tickets, including moves, adds, and changes related to end-user communications equipment, such as password resets and basic mobile device programming. Responsibilities also include coordinating with vendors for ordering and repairing communication services and equipment, including POTS lines, data circuits, VoIP licenses, and mobile lines. The technician will assist with mobile device management system administration, asset tracking, and inventory coordination. Additionally, they will support invoice processing, billing reconciliation, and maintain accurate communications records and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with Mobile Device Support
Hands-on experience replacing, configuring, and troubleshooting iOS and Android mobile devices
Familiarity with mobile device wipe/reload procedures
Setting up new devices, replacing old devices with new devices
Knowledge of Workspace One or Microsoft Intune
Experience deploying and managing devices using Microsoft Intune or similar Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
Tier 1 IT Support Experience
o Proven ability to resolve basic IT service tickets (including password resets, device setups and end-user support)
Familiarity with moves, adds, and changes processes for communications equipment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Basic Networking and Telecom Knowledge
Understanding of POTS lines, data circuits, VoIP systems, and mobile communication services
Ability to open and monitor repair tickets with telecom vendors
