Insight Global is seeking a QA Tester to support a large natural gas utility client. This role will focus on manual testing within GIS applications, including writing, executing, and updating test cases based on project requirements. The tester will work closely with the team to understand business needs, translate them into actionable test scenarios, and ensure thorough validation of system functionality. A strong analytical mindset is essential, as the role requires someone who will have a holistic view of the systems being tested—not just isolated changes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of identifying potential system-wide impacts during testing.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of manual testing experience
• Hands-on experience with Helix or similar testing tools
• Strong understanding of basic testing concepts
• Proven experience in test case design and execution
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Proven experience in automation testing with a strong grasp of testing frameworks and methodologies
· Practical expertise using Keyside Eggplant Functional for automated test execution and validation
· Proficient in scripting with Sensetalk to support customized and efficient automation workflow
• Solid background in GIS systems with hands-on experience in:
○ ArcGISPro
○ Esri software suite
○ AutoCAD (spatial data integration)
• Familiarity with Esri’s advanced GIS components:
○ ArcGIS Pipeline Reference (APR)
○ Linear Referencing System (LRS)
○ Utility Network (UN)
• Prior involvement with Automated Utility Design (AUD), supporting utility mapping and design automation
