Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Platform Engineer / Architect to design, implement, and optimize our multi-cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on automation, scalability, and building a strong foundation across multiple cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in modern cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions across AWS and Azure (with exposure to GCP and Oracle Cloud as a plus).
Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps and GitHub repositories.
Script and automate tasks using Bash and PowerShell.
Contribute to containerization and orchestration strategy, including Kubernetes (cloud-agnostic approach).
Collaborate on monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, New Relic) and integrate them with automation workflows.
Ensure security, compliance, and performance across hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem).
Provide guidance on network concepts, storage fundamentals, and best practices for cloud architecture.
Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions for strategic cloud initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
Proven expertise in AWS and Azure environments.
Strong automation experience with Ansible (must-have).
Proficiency in Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
Hands-on scripting with Bash and PowerShell.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.
Familiarity with storage concepts and network fundamentals.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with GCP and Oracle Cloud.
Exposure to Linux / Red Hat environments (in addition to Windows).
Knowledge of cloud-agnostic orchestration strategies.
Experience with Github repositories
Experience with New Relic
