Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a skilled Junior JavaScript Developer to join a prestigious high-end luxury retail company. The individual will be working on the team responsible for implementing analytics tagging through Tealium across various platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Yahoo, Meta, and Bing. Each platform requires specific tags and information, and the team ensures that analytics are integrated seamlessly across all web platforms. Although the team does not extensively work within the data itself, they review it to identify and resolve issues, focusing on sending that accurate data to the respective platforms. The developer will work across 3-4 websites and 4-5 applications, handling all aspects related to analytics and tagging.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3+ years of experience in JavaScript development, demonstrating the ability to write and maintain efficient, clean, and scalable code
Proficiency in HTML, including a strong understanding of semantic markup and responsive design principles
Hands-on experience with Tealium or a similar tag management tools, including the ability to implement, configure, and troubleshoot tags effectively
Proactive Mindset: Initiative-driven, who's unafraid to ask questions and seek clarity to drive success
Independent thinker: Senior-level mindset, capable of working autonomously without needing constant guidance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with observing a point or similar tag monitoring services
Ability to identify different DOM elements
Experience in creating and managing journeys, detailing each step
Degree in Computer Science or a related field
