Insight Global is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join the Real Estate Investing Tech Services team supporting a large financial client headquartered in Dallas. This hybrid role requires working onsite three days a week and offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact portfolio of investment and real estate applications.
You’ll be responsible for supporting production environments, implementing regulatory enhancements, and modernizing legacy systems across 35–40 applications. This includes Java version upgrades, React UI refreshes, and cloud migration efforts. You’ll also collaborate with infrastructure teams on AWS and Kubernetes deployments, and work hands-on with proprietary tools and MongoDB-based systems.

Required Skills & Experience
-Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
-Strong proficiency in Java J2EE and backend development
-Experience supporting production environments and regulatory enhancements
-React and TypeScript experience (approx. 40% of the role)
-AWS cloud experience (approx. 30% of applications are cloud-based)
-Kubernetes experience (80% of applications are on-prem)
-Solid database knowledge, including MongoDB and relational databases
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Exposure to cloud migration strategies and tooling (e.g., HashiCorp)
-Familiarity with proprietary tools such as Alloy Services
-Familiarity with investment services or real estate platforms
