Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team enhancing mission-critical BVOIP 911 applications. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that ensure reliability and compliance for emergency communication services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
Implement secure data handling practices leveraging SecureData technologies.
Design and optimize Oracle database solutions.
Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and external systems.
Utilize sTrace and monitoring tools for performance analysis and debugging.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes; implement caching strategies with Redis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Frontend) to deliver robust solutions.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for emergency services.
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins.

Required Skills & Experience
5–7 years of professional experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
Expertise in Oracle database design and optimization.
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience with Kubernetes and Redis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in telecom or emergency services projects.
Hands-on experience with SecureData for secure data management.
Knowledge of security best practices for sensitive data handling.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks.
Exposure to automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.
