Job Description
Insight Global's client is seeking an Information Architect to design, standardize, and govern how data is structured, integrated, and leveraged across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in shaping the enterprise canonical data model, ensuring consistency across systems, business domains, and analytics platforms—with dedicated focus on the Contracts business domain.
The Information Architect will play a key role in defining and managing data structures that support contract lifecycle management, including contract creation, execution, renewal, and compliance. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, this role will ensure that contract-related data is standardized, trusted, and interoperable across operational and analytical platforms.
The Information Architect will collaborate with stakeholders across business domains to define taxonomies, metadata, and integration standards, ensuring data is accessible and reusable for operations, analytics, and regulatory compliance. The role will also partner closely with the MDM Program Leader to align information architecture principles with Profisee-driven master data management (MDM) capabilities.
This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on design expertise, balancing long-term architecture principles with practical implementation guidance.
Key Responsibilities include:
-Define, maintain, and evolve the enterprise canonical data model, ensuring standardization across systems and domains (e.g., customer, contracts, inventory, financials).
-Collaborate with the MDM Program Leader to design Profisee MDM data models, hierarchies, and stewardship workflows that align with enterprise standards.
-Partner with enterprise architects and solution teams to embed information architecture principles in system implementations, integrations, and analytics platforms.
-Develop, enhance, and support data models within the Contracts business domain, ensuring they accurately represent contract lifecycle data, terms, financial relationships, and operational linkages across business systems.
-Work closely with contract management, legal, and finance stakeholders to define and maintain standardized data definitions and relationships supporting contract creation, execution, renewal, and compliance processes.
-Develop and enforce metadata, glossary, and data lineage standards using enterprise cataloging/governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
-Establish reusable data design patterns for interoperability across applications, APIs, streaming platforms, and data warehouses/lakes.
-Work with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into standardized, reusable models that support operational and analytical use cases.
-Conduct architecture reviews of projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with canonical data model and information architecture standards.
-Provide guidance and mentorship to data modelers, data stewards, and engineers.
