Job Description
Insight Global’s client is seeking a GIS Specialist to join their team. The role involves updating and maintaining a comprehensive library of hydraulic models in Synergi Gas, utilizing records, maps, sketches, and designs within GIS and/or CAD software. The Data Modeler will ensure the accuracy of hydraulic models by cross-referencing data from enterprise systems, and will create maps, graphics, charts, and other visual tools to aid communication. Responsibilities also include organizing and maintaining detailed records using various software programs, assisting with training and quality control, and contributing to the development of GIS applications, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Drafting, or a related field
• Over 2 years of GIS experience in sectors such as Gas, Telecom, Electric, or Transportation
• Expertise in using ArcMap, ArcGIS, or ESRI platforms
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with predictive modeling techniques
• Proficiency in a GIS-related programming language
• Familiarity with Synergi Gas (Synergy)
• Background in data migration processes
