Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Privacy Analyst to join a client in a permanent opportunity onsite in Dallas, TX 4 days a week. The Privacy Analyst supports the organization’s privacy program by integrating privacy-by-design principles into business processes and technology initiatives, gathering requirements, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams. This role manages day‑to‑day privacy operations, including data subject request intake, contract reviews, data mapping, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and records of processing activities. The analyst helps administer privacy tools for cookie and tracking compliance, monitors privacy metrics and incident trends, and verifies that systems align with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also include drafting and updating privacy notices, supporting incident response and risk assessments, assisting with audits, and communicating updates to stakeholders. The position collaborates closely with IT, Security, Legal, HR, and other teams while staying current on evolving privacy laws—especially as the organization expands into new markets—and contributes to internal training and efforts to foster a strong culture of privacy awareness.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Information
Systems, Legal Studies, Cybersecurity, Business, or
Compliance.
• 1– 3 years of experience in privacy, data protection,
compliance, or related fields (internships acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate privacy requirements in a
collaborative, cross-functional environment- ideally has worked in person/ in corporate environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Professional certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPT) are a plus but not required.
-Basic familiarity with data flows, systems, or information governance is a plus.
- Foundational understanding of data protection principles
and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA,
CANSPAM).
-Experience with OneTrust
