A leading natural gas utility company is seeking a new Data Modeler to join their team. The role involves maintaining and updating a library of hydraulic models in Synergi Gas using records, maps, sketches, and working designs in GIS and/or CAD software. This individual will validate the accuracy of hydraulic models in Synergi Gas using data from enterprise systems, prepare maps, graphics, charts, and other visual aids to facilitate communication, and establish, organize, and maintain detailed records using various computer programs. Additionally, this person may assist with training, direction, and quality control of others engaged in similar activities, as well as contribute to the development of GIS applications, processes, and procedures.

2+ years of experience in GIS at any utility (Gas, Telecom, Electric, Transportation, etc.)
Proficient with ArcMap, ArcGIS or ESRI
Strong soft skills - can zoom out and look at the bigger picture and deal with ambiguity of having source data that does not agree with one another
Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Computer Drafting or related field
* Hands-on experience with predictive models of any type
* Hands-on experience with some sort of programming language associated with GIS
* Has worked with Synergi Gas (Synergy)
*Has prior experience with data migration
