Insight Global's client in the Data Center Industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as a Data Governance Process Engineer. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies, processes, and tools. The individual will work closely with internal team members to understand requirements and ensure that data governance practices are properly configured and operationalized. Additionally, the Data Governance Process Engineer will attend customer-facing meetings to assist with the design and implementation of data governance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, data quality management, and data engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement data governance policies, processes, and tools.
-Collaborate with internal team members to understand requirements and ensure proper configuration of data governance practices.
-Attend customer-facing meetings to assist with the design and implementation of data governance requirements.
-Provide technical expertise around source systems, ETL processes, data stores, and BI tools.
-Recommend data quality controls in source systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
-Ensure data quality and stewardship capabilities are established and maintained within the data governance framework.
-Act as a liaison between data domains and the broader data governance team to ensure alignment and consistency in data management practices.

-8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality management, and data engineering principles.
-Strong ability to develop and implement data governance policies and processes.
-Experience with data governance tools and technologies -ideally MS Purview and Profisee
-Familiarity with data quality management and data stewardship.
-Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
