Job Description

A retail investment company is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join their team. You will be responsible for overseeing processes that drive the timely and successful execution of construction projects, including the delivery of company facilities and related equipment from contract initiation through project completion. This role plays a critical part in coordinating contractors, vendors, equipment installers, and internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

• Assist the Construction Project team with obtaining, uploading, and organizing
• construction documents, drawings, photos, permits, change orders, and schedules in company databases.
• Collect, process, and upload project information from general contractors, building manufacturers, vendors, and equipment installers.
• Support preparation and collection of bid documents and quotes.
• Maintain and update project schedules, milestone dates, and closeout documentation on a daily and weekly basis.
• Coordinate with construction and accounting teams to track change order requests, invoicing, and payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Proactively identify issues and recommend process improvements.
• Track and report on critical deliverables and contractor/vendor performance metrics.
• Communicate with city officials, utility providers, and state agencies to obtain permits, utilities, and other required materials.
• Maintain accurate data in project-tracking software to ensure real-time visibility for the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-4 years of experience as a project coordinator within construction
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with strong computer skills - (smartsheets)
• Clear and confident communicator, skilled in managing internal and external relationships

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Retail industry background
• Bachelor’s Degree
