Insight Global is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript and Python (Java is a plus) to join a large financial services team in downtown Dallas, TX. In this role, youll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and robust web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You should have at least 3 years of experience working with backend technologies, including MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, and be comfortable deploying applications using Kubernetes and basic Linux commands. Proficiency in Git, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating across global teams is essential. Youll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help ensure high code quality through testing and documentation.

-3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer (TypeScript, Python, Java)
-Experience with database systems and have ability to query data (Mongo DB, NoSQL)
-Must have experience with deploying applications through Kubernetes and have ability to write basic Linux commands
-Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
-Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
-Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders, and working as part of a global team.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
-Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
-Experience with React
-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
-Experience working with AWS Lambda
-Contributions to open-source projects
-Interest in finance
