Job Description

Assists in the design and development and testing of software applications.
Resolves day-to-day incidents to ensure the integrity of the services being provided.
Consume, transform and update data between two or more systems using Integration software.
Consults with business partners to create documentation relating to the program definition, development, business requirements. Documentation includes software objectives, deliverables, and end user specifications.
Writes, translates, and codes software scripts, programs and applications according to specifications and end user requirements.
Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement. Support in the smooth maintenance of the system 2 and provide data to the end users in a timely manner.
Prepares and writes reports for management and/or team members on the status of assignments.
Trains end users to operate new or modified programs.
Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of development efforts.
Works with external vendors to ensure efficient implementation of software products or systems.
Keeps abreast of new and changing technological advances in program languages, utilities, tools, and client/server technology to ensure achievement of ETL/Development of reports, so users can make proper decisions.
Follow the IT procedures and naming conventions guidance. Also provide proper documentation as required by IT standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business or a closely related field
3-5 years of experience in software programming
Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL
Extensive experience with APIs and RESTful services, including tools such as Postman e
2+ years of experience with Workday
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, including building in a production environment and understanding SOX regulations and controls
Strong communication skills, adaptable, open to change, and eager to learn new skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Workday Extend / Workday Orchestration
Knowledge of Java programming
Familiarity with PowerApps / Power Platform
Background in Linux
