Insight Global is looking for a Director of Restaurant Food Safety on behalf of one of the worlds leading casual dining restaurant companies with over 1600 global restaurants. This person will report to the Sr. Director of QA & Food Safety and be responsible for leading comprehensive food safety programs across all restaurant operations. This role ensures that all food safety practices meet or exceed federal, state, and local regulations, aligning with company policies to maintain a top-tier dining experience while prioritizing guest and employee safety. Some key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing the food safety and pest control auditing program, partnering with the restaurant operations stakeholders to identify gaps and diagnosis issues, and develop and/or participate in programs with FDA, USDA, State and Local Health Departments. -Leadership-level food safety experience at a complex chain restaurant brand (must convert raw products into food consumed onsite)
-Corporate restaurant experience conducting presentations with executive level stakeholders
-Management of direct reports at the managerial level (must have the ability to critique & provide feedback in a constructive manner)
