Job Description

The Director, Talent Acquisition is a critical leadership role responsible for building and leading a high-performing talent acquisition team that delivers top-tier talent to support a rapidly growing and innovative organization. This leader will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring exceptional candidates across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven, and results-oriented leader with a strong background in talent acquisition within complex industries such as aerospace, technology, or advanced manufacturing. They will bring a passion for innovation, a deep understanding of recruiting best practices, and a proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives
Identify and prioritize critical talent needs across engineering, production, operations, and corporate functions
Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand their needs and deliver tailored recruiting solutions
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of talent acquisition professionals
Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the TA function
Leverage digital channels and social media to promote the companys brand, culture, and values
Partner with marketing and communications to create compelling employer branding materials
Continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience
Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in competitive markets
Use data and analytics to measure, report, and optimize recruitment performance
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain diverse talent
Champion a culture of inclusivity and belonging across all hiring practices
Collaborate closely with HR and business leadership to align talent acquisition with broader organizational goals
Support and protect the TA team while holding them accountable to high standards
Bring a fresh perspective and readiness to tackle challenges, especially in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, must have a commercial space experience
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing recruiting teams
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and modern recruiting tools
Strong understanding of talent acquisition metrics and analytics
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong understanding of how Talent Acquisition intersects with both HR and the broader business

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience scaling recruiting operations in a startup or high-growth company
Background in employer branding and recruitment marketing
Familiarity with DEI-focused recruiting strategies and inclusive hiring practices
