Job Description
This individual will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and operating according to design specifications, client requirements, and project objectives.
Day to Day:
• Lead all mechanical commissioning activities from construction completion through project turnover.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, procedures, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate commissioning efforts between owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and equipment vendors.
• Oversee startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing, and final acceptance of mechanical systems.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, test procedures, and commissioning documentation.
• Track commissioning progress and ensure all testing activities are completed on schedule.
• Identify and resolve commissioning issues, deficiencies, and system conflicts.

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical commissioning on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, heating hot water systems, air handling units, pumps, piping systems, controls, and building automation systems (BAS).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and commissioning documents.
