Job Description
This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the project's design effort, managing multiple design consultants and subcontractors while ensuring designs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with project objectives. They will oversee the complete design lifecycle, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, and acting as the bridge between owners, contractors, engineers, architects, and field operations.
Day to day:
• Lead and manage the overall project design process from concept through issued-for-construction (IFC) documents.
• Oversee and coordinate all design subcontractors, including architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, etc.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all design-related matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify design risks, conflicts, and gaps early and drive resolutions with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, design changes, and design-related scope modifications.

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in design management, project management, architecture, engineering, or a related construction discipline.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and design consultants.
• Strong understanding of the design-build or EPC project delivery process.
• Experience managing project designs from conceptual planning through final construction documents.
